A year ago I resigned from my job that I was working in for two years. I didn't have another job lined up and only had about $4,000 dollars in savings.
Now you can say that's good amount to have, but in the economy that we live in that money will run out sooner or later. But after resigning 3 weeks later my sister fell ill(I live with family). Now that took a turn because I surely believed God called me for higher. She was mentally and physically unable to help herself. So my family had to step in and take care of her. It was very challenging and we spent many nights crying and praying to God to help my sister recover from this illness.
Over a month later by the grace of God she was healed. When my sister got better I went back to school and God miraculously helped me financially in supporting me and my family .
This outcome allowed me to finish with a degree that will further catapult me to my calling.
This journey taught me that God is a good God. He is a provider. He knows what's best for us. He will never leave us or forsake us in every journey of our lives. This also strengthened my relationship with my heavenly father.
Take the leap of faith. I know it's scary to not know the unknown, but trust God he will not leave you astray. He has even Greater plans for you! -Nilah C
